Tips for taking pictures
- Avoid smoke, rain, fog, etc.
- Hold your breath when snapping a picture on a cold night.
- Hold the camera still. Some night shots hold the shutter open longer. Movement will distort your photo.
- Tie long hair back so it doesn't show up in front of the lens.
- Keep a watch out for camera straps, hair, clothing, or anything that the camera flash can bounce off of.
- No shiny or reflective objects should be photographed.
- No one will believe a paranormal picture taken in adverse conditions. Wind, street lights, disco balls, etc. will all destroy evidence in a photo.
- Get to know your equipment. Test the camera in all conditions (weather and environments). Learn what it can and cannot do.
- Never shoot toward a light. It will make weird reflections on the lens.
